Spartacus wooden meeple!
20 days ago – Sat, Jan 14, 2023 at 02:18:49 PM

Dear Followers and Subscribers,

“I am Spartacus!”

(famous quote of the movie “Spartacus” directed by Stanley Kubrick)

There is a nice little optional rule for "Spartacus" in „History of the Ancients Seas Volume III: MARE NOSTRUM“.

We talked about the optional rule for Spartacus in one of our earlier updates (#12).

But, as you may have noticed, we decided to have all playing pieces as customized wooden meeples and we decided against a material mix of wood and card board token for the pieces on the map.

I hope you like the result :-)

Spartacus ante portas!!

You should have reveived a notification by backerkit about the card charging process in the coming days. Thank you all for your support!

Take care and see you in the next update,

yours Uwe Walentin.

Our year ended by receiving preproduction samples of our beautiful wooden meeples for History of the Ancient Seas! The only thing need is a slight color correction on the Roman red by our manufacturer. All the rest has been approved by us.

Above photo shows our final meeple shapes. From left to right you can see the Monumet, Soldier/Legion, Fortress, Ship, Fleet, Leader and Army. In the front the cube marker meeples and to the right of it the Marketplace.
The finalization of the last print files is getting closer and were looking forward to work on preproduction samples of the games!

HOTAS - update on preparation for production
2 months ago – Thu, Dec 01, 2022 at 10:52:53 PM

Hello dear backers and subscribers

I hope you all do well!

We just want to let you know, we are busy finishing the printing files for HOTAS! I'd like to say, the "hardware" (maps, boxes, player sheets and the likes) are ready and wait to be sent to the printer. We still need to do some finetuning on the rules manual and back of the boxes. We are waiting for final samples of the customized wooden meeples to take nice pictures.

Thanks to all of you to have closed their order at Backerkit! There are only very few that didn't respond yet.

We will send you some appetizers when we received the samples :-)

Take care and have a good time!

Sincerely yours

Uwe Walentin
